Hello, I'm Hannah
I understand that choosing a counsellor can feel like a big step. For me, counselling starts with creating a relationship where you feel safe enough to simply be yourself.
I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what's happening in your life, explore difficult thoughts and feelings, and begin to understand yourself on a deeper level.
My approach
I work in an integrative way, drawing upon different counselling theories and approaches rather than believing that one way of working is right for everyone. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), and work within their ethical frameworks.
I believe our past experiences can influence how we think, feel and relate to others today. At the same time, therapy doesn't always have to focus on the past. We can also look at what's happening in your life now and what might help you move forward.

What you can expect from me
I won't sit opposite you and tell you how to live your life. Instead, I'll listen, ask questions, gently challenge when it may be helpful and work alongside you to explore what's happening beneath the surface. You can simply come as you are.
